Cancellation Policy
A 20% gratuity will be charged which includes delivery, cleanup and setup. A 8.25% Utah food tax applies to all catered events We accept credit cards with a 3.5% fee, Venmo, PayPal or Check is also accepted The client and caterer agree to the following: 1.2 The client is required to pay a 60% deposit of the total amount upon signing of the contract to secure event date and services If event is booked 30 days prior to the event, the full balance is due upon signing of contract The client is required to pay the remaining balance on the total cost for the event, 8 days prior to the event A $35.00 charge will be applied to late payments per day if the payment is late Cancellation policy: Cancellation notice 1.1 All cancellations must be made in writing and received by Lia Catering. If the event is canceled within 90 days of the scheduled event day all deposits and prepayments are forfeited in full. Non-Transferability of Payments 1.2 Any payments made toward the event are non-transferable and cannot be applied to any future events, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Force Majeure 1.3In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Lia Catering (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions), which force the cancellation of the event, Lia Catering will work with the client to reschedule the event. However, any payments made will remain non-refundable and non-transferable to a different event.
